Monday Morning Motivation – The Journey Begins
It was a crisp Monday morning when we decided to start the week with something extraordinary — a 17.9 km walk through the vibrant streets of Lucknow. Starting from Munshi Pulia, we set off at dawn with the city still half-asleep, feeling the calm breeze and quiet roads guiding our steps.
The Route: Munshi Pulia to Hazratganj, Lucknow
Our path took us through the familiar lanes of Nishatganj, where the morning hum slowly began to rise. By the time we reached Hazratganj, the city’s energy was in full bloom. We took a well-deserved break here for breakfast — a plate of Daal Fare, simple yet comforting, giving us the fuel to continue.

Through the Heart of Lucknow
Post-breakfast, we took the route passing Civil Hospital and along 5KD Lohia Path, one of Lucknow’s most scenic stretches. The roads were alive with early commuters, joggers, and chai stalls. At 1090 Chauraha Parag Dairy Centre, we stopped for an energy drink, recharging ourselves for the next leg of the journey.
Towards Samta Mulak Chauraha & Fun Road
From there, we walked towards Samta Mulak Chauraha, turning onto the lively Fun Road, surrounded by small shops and morning rush. Every kilometer brought a mix of laughter, sweat, and a sense of accomplishment.
The Final Stretch – Back to Lekhraj and Madhusudan’s House
Our final stretch led us towards Lekhraj, and finally to our destination — Madhusudan’s house, where our long trek ended.
In total, we covered 17.9 kilometers in 3 hours and 29 minutes, burning around 1,519 calories. It wasn’t just a walk — it was a reminder that fitness can be fun, social, and full of exploration.
Reflections on the Walk
Every step was a story — of discipline, discovery, and the beauty of Lucknow’s streets. From the serenity of early morning Munshi Pulia to the buzz of Hazratganj, this walk reminded us that sometimes the best adventures happen right in our own city.
